Ready to Talk About It Yet?????

It is almost 2 weeeks ago that we laid to rest our baby, our angel, our hero, our friend, and our inspiration. Are we ready to talk yet? My answer would be it depends on the moment. The emotions change minute to minute, hour to hour. Don't quite know how to feel. Feel lost, feel relief from the pain and suffering, feel like I shouldn't feel either one of those feeelings. Anyway I'll/we'll get them under control and move forward.
For all those who were not able to attend Jack's funeral, it was a beautiful send off. Fire engines, police cars, police motorcycles, roads closed. It was an incredible display of love and emotion for the little man who touched this community and the lives of so many people in a way that is inexplainable.
On the day of Jack's funeral I read a eulogy that Charlotte and I wrote. I have had people ask for a copy of it so I figured I would post it for all to read. Just click on the following link Download file.
I would also like to say thank you to each and everyone of you, the support that everyone has shown, has us blown away.
Thanks Again Everybody

My Dear Little Friend,

It has been almost a month since you left us all to return home. We miss you so very much because we were all touched by you in so many different ways. Many will call you an angel who lived amoung us and they would be correct.

Jack, you showed us how to live our lives in your four and a half short years. You gave your love unselfishly to everyone you came in contact with. You disliked no one and brought out the best in us all. You stirred the deepest of emotions and all that was accomplished by your smile and your heart.

As the days go by we will all cry a little less but your life will remain strong within everyone who was so blessed to know you. Of course, we cry for ourselves because we miss you and realize our loss.

As I sit here and look at your picture I know you are now at home and completely happy. Your body is now perfect and your pain is gone. I look forward to the day we will see you again to hear your voice and feel the touch of your hand.

Until then my little buddie, pray for all of us who love you and miss you. Your spirt will live on within so many of us.

Gary
